Fred Rogers, through his long-running TV Show, Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood, broke through the noise and brashness of his time with a soft-spoken kindness that shaped generations.

This interview was recorded in 2002. Won't You Be My Neighbor, a documentary about Fred Rogers, opens in theaters this weekend.
